Timex Women's Classic Two-Tone Expansion Watch #T2H611

I have had a timex watch my entire life and it was always the same - Silver expandable band and white face. Over the years I upgraded to add Indiglo, but this new 2-Tone Watch is my favorite by far. All the comforts and ease of and expandable band, all the practicality of easy to read numbers and indiglo, yet the good looks of silver and gold.Buy Timex Women's Classic Two-Tone Expansion Watch #T2H611!

TX877671, Timex watchband, Fast Wrap Expedition, 16-20 mm, beige, adjustable

... you know the rest. I like this band. Simple to get on and off in the dark. Goes well with my Timex Expedition watch. I could do without the product badging, but those are easily removed. Buy TX877671, Timex watchband, Fast Wrap Expedition, 16-20 mm, beige, adjustable!

Timex Kids Digital 71912

My 5-year-old son LOVED this watch. He wore it all the time. It was a comfortable fit on his wrist, and looked great on him. He loved the light-up dial and the buttons. Also it was water proof and he swam with it often, and didn't have to take it off to take a bath. I think this helped a lot with keeping track of it. However, it met its end when he threw it hard against the wall during a tantrum. Later that day he swam with it and it filled up with water and was ruined. Obviously he should not have treated it that way, but still the "takes a licking and keeps on ticking" slogan comes to mind. It would have been good if it were a little bit tougher. If treated with respect, though, I think this is a very nice watch. Buy Timex Kids Digital 71912!

Timex Women's Premium Collection Sport Luxury Bracelet Watch #T2M519

I bought this watch when Timex was offering a 20% off rebate during the holidays. I must admit that this was a big inspiration. This appears to be a rare Timex style, which made me like it even more. Typically, I wear this watch 3-4 times per week; overall wear and tear seems above avergae.Buy Timex Women's Premium Collection Sport Luxury Bracelet Watch #T2M519!

Expedition Aluminum Trail

First of all, the product specifications listed on this page is wrong - there are no 24-hour military markings on this watch! If you're military personnel, it wouldn't be much of a problem anyway. You'd already be familiar with the 24 hour times.

I purchased this watch because I needed a (relatively) cheap little rough-and-tumble watch, for weekends or casual wear, or when the mood strikes me. Now that I am somewhat older, I have given up on Casio G-shocks. Now I prefer analog faces to a digital readout. For one thing, yes I'm old-school - I want to see a clock face when looking at the time and not have to visualise a clock-face when I look at digital readouts.

I have been poring through the various Timex Expedition watches, and found that the general consensus was that Timex Expedition watches are pretty darn tough (like a G-Shock). I finally decided that this watch would be great for me, and went out to a local store and bought it. I tend to prefer dark watch faces with light markings. The contrast makes reading the time that much easier and faster.

One thing that may put people off this watch though - when it's all quiet in the room, you can actually hear the ticking sound from the watch! Yes, soft "tick tick tick" when you're lying in bed, even if the watch may be on the table about 2 metres away from you. However, it isn't really distracting or irritating. It is curious though, since all my other quartz watches are silent.

The luminous hands are good for a quick check of the time in a darkened location. However, the hour and minute markings around the dial are so faint, they might as well not exist. This isn't too big of a problem, because if you so desire, you can easily press the crown in and the Indiglo night light feature will light the watch face up. Check out my uploaded pictures to get a better idea.

Another weird quirk of this watch (or it may be just the watch that I have) is that the markings from 7 to 9 seem to be a little "off", about half a millimetre. The second hand doesn't point precisely to them. The other minute markings are spot-on. Just something you might want to know in case these kind of things get you.

Also, the date doesn't rollover "cleanly" at 12 midnight. At midnight, it's still showing part of the previous day's date, and part of the date of "today". It won't fully show "today's date" until about 12.15 or 12.30, when the majority of "today's date" finally rolls into view in the date window.

On the plus side, it's very light. It's so light that sometimes it felt like I wasn't wearing a watch at all, and had to look at my wrist to make sure that I was. I'm used to my heavier metal-strap watches, I guess.

The leather/nylon strap dries very quickly when wet. Plus, the 10-year battery life is neat. It's not shown here in the product description but it's mentioned elsewhere on other watch sites if you google for this model.

Unlike what a previous reviewer said about its accuracy, the one I own only loses about 3 to 4 seconds a MONTH, and not a couple of minutes in 3 weeks. It's a quartz watch, it shouldn't be that inaccurate.

All in all, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.Buy Expedition Aluminum Trail!

Men's Timex Digital Indiglo Expandable Watch

My watch was fine for a little over a year. Then the indiglow light wouldn't work any more. I thought it might be the battery, so I had it replaced. This didn't help. I subsequently noticed condensation inside the face of the watch. Less than a month later the face fell off. (These later problems may have been the result of changing the battery, as the sales people at Target who did it took almost an hour and didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing!) I glued the face back on, but there was still condensation inside and now some of the LED segments are not working.Buy Men's Timex Digital Indiglo Expandable Watch!

Timex Men's Vibrating Easy Set Alarm Classic Analog Watch #T41731

Time(x) has sure improved these. I had a couple about ten years ago when they came out (no vibrating alarm) and this is much more solid and accurate. I don't know what the case is made of (the back is stainless), but it's much more substantial than the original die cast (pot metal) ones, and the parts are heavier and made to closer tolerances. The super-quick-setting under-an-hour alarm is still brilliant, and the 12-hour alarm is quick and accurate as well. The hands, even the second hand, are fluorescent even though the watch has Indiglo so bright you can use it as a flashlight in certain situations! When the alarm's not set I use the under-an-hour red alarm indicator as a day indicator, 12 o'clock for Sunday, 1 o'clock for Monday, etc. Also, you can set it to the minute to note elapsed time or set the 12-hour alarm to the present time for longer elapsed time (parking). A snug strap adjustment is better for feeling the alarm. (This watch is vibrate only; Timex makes at least one with the same features but with an audible-only alarm). When I got this watch I set it repeatedly for a few minutes ahead to get used to it. It wakes me up just fine, and rather pleasantly, and I have yet to accidentally turn off the alarm set. Pay five to seven times as much for a Bulova and (some models) will allow choosing between audible and vibrate alarms, but will only be accurate within 12 minutes (one minute for an hour-only alarm hand). Pay five to seven times as much for a Citizen Calibre 8700 with a hard-to read day indicator and an excruciatingly slow motor-driven 24 hour alarm set (or check!). Two time zones? I'll reset the Timex if I travel. Perpetual date? The Timex has forward and backward quick-set date. Eco-drive? So I'll buy a battery every few years. And the Citizen weighs MORE and doesn't vibrate. Oh--and do you really need a chronometer (stopwatch) as some complicated alarm watches (with three small dials on the face) have? If your kid's on the swim team surely you already have a $15 digital split timer. For analog people who want a super quick-setting (vibrating) alarm, especially an under-an-hour one for naps or not to forget you're draining excess water from your pool or you're supposed to call your mother-in-law (ouch), this is a solid, inexpensive, brilliant watch full of useful features.Buy Timex Men's Vibrating Easy Set Alarm Classic Analog Watch #T41731!

Timex Men's Easy Reader Black Leather Watch #T20051

For a decent looking watch on a budget, this model seems fine. I found it easy to read the directions that came with the product, although I found the crown difficult to work with. Perhaps it was a case of large fingers working with a rather diminutive piece of equipment. Still, the watch looks good and keeps time, and it certainly makes sense to wear a reliable, inexpensive watch for most occasions.Buy Timex Men's Easy Reader Black Leather Watch #T20051!

Timex Women's Easy Reader Gold-Tone Expansion Band Watch #T2H351

This Timex model has alot of great features all for a reasonable price.
The Goldtone finish looks like a more expensive watch.

This is one gift my wife really likes. She especially likes the Easy Reader face, Indigo backlight and Expandable Band.
Even the date is easier to read than other watches.

It is not easy to find all the features this Timex has in one watch.

The watch works great and looks great. It's a good buy!Buy Timex Women's Easy Reader Gold-Tone Expansion Band Watch #T2H351!

Timex Men's Ironman Triathlon Solar Dual-Tech Watch #T5G681

This watch is great for almost any function. I love that the digital screen can be turned off for a more professional/office look. Also, it is an Ironman, so you know it's great for training. I enjoy that it can be charge on light too. I've really enjoyed this watch so far and I'm hoping that like all the other Ironman watches I've owned, it will last a long time.

I'm giving this a 5 though since I can't give a 4.5. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but if I was paying the retail price, I would expect a lot more. It doesn't have some things that my other Ironman watches have had - such as a countdown/count-up timer and the ability to store stopwatch workouts with average and best laps (or a Memo function, but I never really used that anyway). Also, this does seem to be a one piece band, so if it breaks, I likely can't repair that myself.

This is all a fine compromise for me though since I get a very stylish best of both worlds - Ironman multi-function and analog in a stylish package. Definitely recommended.Buy Timex Men's Ironman Triathlon Solar Dual-Tech Watch #T5G681!

Timex Midsize Classic Digital Chrono Alarm Timer Watch #T46001

This watch has everything I need. Digital display with time and date. INDIGLO lighting with and easy touch button. 3 alarms. It is easy to set. I like the small compact size, unlike those bulky, oversized digitals. Unlike another review that I read, I can hear the alarm easily. However, if my arm is under the pillow and I miss it, it repeats itself after 5 minutes several times. If the compass is important, which it isn't to me, you will be disappointed. It is useless so I cut it off and threw it away. Buy Timex Midsize Classic Digital Chrono Alarm Timer Watch #T46001!

Timex Expedition E-Compass Watch T49707

why four stars and not five for this very cool watch? probably only because the numbers on the dial are so very small. but what can one expect when timex packed so much into this watch. okay here is what i think...it is a big watch, but the black bezel against the yellow face makes the watch appear smaller than it is. it is a bit heavy, but no troubles. the strap is great, i realy like the silicone/rubber straps, i find them comfortable, tough, and unaffected by sweat and other moisture. the thermometer and the compass both seem very accurate - tides? i don't know; the time over the last month is accurate to within a second or so (i set it against directv). the numbers are small and at first i had some trouble distiguishing which hand was which, especially at night, but as i become familiar with the face it is easier and easier for me to interpret it quickly and correctly. I am not a jewelry person (i wear only the watch and my wedding ring) but i am pleased (proud?) of how the watch looks - though the people who have noticed it and complimented it so far seem to be the the twenty something group (i am 45). so all in all it is a GREAT and COOL watch and i am extremely happy i purchased it.Buy Timex Expedition E-Compass Watch T49707!

Timex Women's Classic Gold-Tone Bracelet Watch #T32227

Timex Men's Automatic Brown Strap Watch #T2D941

I just want to say that I didn't have HUGE expectations when I found that Timex was making an automatic watch, but I thought I'd give it a shot as I don't own any watches that are electric. I don't like to wear my Omega to work every day!! If you like the idea of a self-wind watch that is affordable...this is your watch. It's got a sweeping second hand...a charge meter (which more expensive watches should have)...and a magnified date.

Something I wish it had...illuminated hands, for seeing the time at night.

It doesn't keep time as well as my ninety year old watch...but it's close enough!

I also love the clear back on the watch. It's interesting to be able to see the movement.

Best thing about the watch, is having a nice automatic movement for a reasonable price! Good job Timex! Buy Timex Men's Automatic Brown Strap Watch #T2D941!

IRONMAN* Triathlon® (O.V.A.) Optimal Viewing Angle

I bought this watch for my 9yr old son - He absolutely loves the watch. He never took it off since he got it!!! the band of the watch is ideal it does not get in the way the band strap is perfect - it has a tuck under feature to keep the band in place. My son loves the fact that it has 3 alarm 1. wake him up for school, 2. to remind the teacher dismal from school, 3. when home work is going over the time before his after-school sports to begin. The timer and stop watch lap mode motivate my son to work out daily to beat his best time - he told me to get a watch like his so we can both bike ride together.

I highly highly recommend parents to purchase this watch for their children.Buy IRONMAN* Triathlon® (O.V.A.) Optimal Viewing Angle!

Timex Ironman Triathlon 75-Lap Sleek OVA Watch T5E461

The Timex OVA watches are great, but the watch band they use stinks. The watch band is badly designed and it will break - almost guaranteed- within 6 months. I'm not talking about any sort of abuse, just normal use. Since the band is molded into the watch structure itself, you can't replace it. Instead of changing the design, Timex has a repair site in Arkansas that will replace the band for $10. Maybe that sounds like a good deal, but this has happened to me four times! Ouch! Timex Unisex Ironman SHOCK 30-Lap Watch #T5J421

Well, here's a bummer. This watch is unbelievably cute, and I adore Timex watches in this style - you can beat them to death and they keep going, great functionality, etc. However, within only a couple of weeks the pink rubber on this watch had noticeably started to turn yellow. I may call Timex about it, but I'm not sure I can find the paperwork...maybe I should buy another one to see how well it wears.

I'm going to keep this one and wear it out in the yard and whatever, but the yellowed tone will probably stop me from wearing it on any fashion-related occasions. ;)Buy Timex Unisex Ironman SHOCK 30-Lap Watch #T5J421!
