Timex OVA Ironman Triathlon Watch #T5E451

Timex 75-lap Ironman Sleek-OVA Series-Mid

Love my new watch, both for during a run and at work. While running, it does slide sometimes, so the watch face is on my wrist or below, but stays in place for the most part. Easy to see, buttons are easy to operate. Would buy again!Buy Timex OVA Ironman Triathlon Watch #T5E451!

Timex Mens Watch #T53722

I had this same watch before, LOVED IT, but lost it. This one doesn't work as well - buttons take hard mashing to work right. Not so un-functional to return for a refund, just kind of a pain.Buy Timex Mens Watch #T53722!

Timex Men's Premium Collection Perpetual Calendar Watch #T2D371

It met all my expectations. It looks very professional and is accurate. I like the idea that the battery will last seven years and also the perpetual calendar. The only reason I did not give it a fifth star is because it is a little bigger and clunkier then I expected. Buy Timex Men's Premium Collection Perpetual Calendar Watch #T2D371!

Timex Kids' Digital Watch #T78821

I bought this watch for my 10 year old daughter. She is particular about comfort (so am I) and this watch wasn't as comfortable as it sounded. The watchband was extremely "pokey" on the inside. It was like the plastic stiching on the edges was poking inward toward the skin. We returned it and got a plastic band by Timex that was much more comfortable.Buy Timex Kids' Digital Watch #T78821!

Timex Women's Classic Digital Watch #T42511

i like the timex watch. the only thing i do not like is the way they designed the watch band. there are two straps to hold the band in place after you buckle it. makes it hard to get strap in there.Buy Timex Women's Classic Digital Watch #T42511!

Timex Men's Easy Set Alarm Watch #T47902

I have owned several Timex watches over the years with the last 2 being Expeditions. When I began researching for another watch with a compass I wanted one with an actually working compass & not just a digital one that you had to press a button everytime you wanted a reading. I checked on several different makes & they ranged in price from $99 to over $250. I found this Timex with a floating digital compass and for only $45. It also has the rotating bezel, another feature I wanted. Having owned Timex watches before with the only problems I ever had was the watchbands wearing out & the battery finally running down, I new it would be a great product. You can't beat a Timex for quality and affordability. This is my first purchase on Amazon and I was very pleased with how it went.Buy Timex Men's Easy Set Alarm Watch #T47902!

Timex Men's Ironman 100-Lap FLIX System Watch #T5E261

Bought watch to use in workouts at club and it is better than I had hoped for -- large numbers make it easy to read and functions are easy to use as well. Concerned about strap at first but it fits nicely and is comfortable if not fastened too tightly. All in all, a great bargain at the price and I'm delighted with the product -- looks great too.Buy Timex Men's Ironman 100-Lap FLIX System Watch #T5E261!

Men's, Timex, Marathon, LCD Dial, Black strap, T59051

I've had this watch for more than 4 years. I still use the original battery. I love that it is so practical. The numbers are large so they are easy to see when in motion, like running or biking, or when awaking. I would have given this watch 5 stars but I gave it 4 because of one defect. The plastic ring holding the strap broke, and I found that I cannot find a replacement. Not in stores, not online, or anywhere else. Since the strap is made to be too long for the circumference of my wrist, it sticks out now, so it's almost impossible to wear it without losing it. I tried to glue it with with krazy glue and by melting the pieces back together but that was a short-lived solution.
Replacement bands are available only for Timex Ironman. From ecological and resource-conserving perspective, I should not need to buy another watch when all I really need is a little plastic ring for the band.
Before I decide to buy another Timex Marathon, I will look into whether Casio or Swatch make similar watches with a metal ring instead. Any alternative model would have to be thin and easy to see as the Timex. Also, I plan to look into the new OVA (optimal viewing angle) watches by Timex and the competition, as well as, ones with more holes in the band to allow ventilation and prevent perspiration from building up underneath the plastic.Buy Men's, Timex, Marathon, LCD Dial, Black strap, T59051!

Timex Unisex Expedition Classic Digital Chronograph Fast Wrap Watch #T49658

Timex Indiglo Watch- Pink/White

Love the watch! Love the BIG numbers! Love the PINK leather strap! Really love the unique PINK indiglo! Very pretty but it is a BASIC watch. No frills but does have a second hand. If that's all you're looking for, great. I would've like to have seen a day/month date feature on this watch and then it would've been PERFECT!Buy Timex Indiglo Watch- Pink/White!

Timex Men's Expedition E-Instruments Tide and Temperature Watch #T41881

I'll admit, this watch took a little getting used to. After a week getting used to the watch and two months of wearing, this watch is outstanding. I live and work on the water and the tide feature is the best. Easily out performs any electronic watch with a tide feature. It does take a some time to get comfortable using but I now immediately distinguish the tide hand from the minute or hour hands (it's shaped differently). As one reviewer noted along with the instructions. The temperature feature is not useful unless removed from your wrist. The time and the tides were the reason for my purchase. If you're a fisherman or work with the tides this watch is perfect. I no longer carry a tide table in my back pocket. Buy Timex Men's Expedition E-Instruments Tide and Temperature Watch #T41881!

Timex Men's Expedition Classic Analog Watch #T44082

This watch is gloss black. The photo looks mat grey. I notified Amazon of this by email and they sent me a second watch(why i will never know) and then tried to bill me for it. Then I had to spend more time working with Amazon on the phone to get mailing lables to send the second watch back. In the end I ended up with the original ugly gloss black watch. Timex watch # T29301

I've loved and used Timex time pieces for as long as I've worn watches, and this one was no disappointment. As a woman, I think women's watches look too dainty on me, so I like men's watches, but not too bulky. This one was perfect, just had to remove some links. Great item and good price - thanks Amazon!Buy Timex watch # T29301!

Timex Men's Classic Two-Tone Expansion Band Watch #T26461

I wanted to buy a little something for a friend whose only watch was digital. The T26461 was the blend I sought:

1. Accuracy. Hey, this is quartz.

2. Durability. It's a Timex, 'nuff said!

3. Nighttime readability. Indiglo!

4. Value. No one will mistake this for a luxury watch, but it's something that will last him a long time, and look decent enough with dress shirts.

Contrary to the description, the expansion bracelet is polished only on the gold tone. The rest is brushed and actually a bit dull. I buffed it a bit with my Dremel, polishing compound and cloth wheel, not to a enough to make it look classier. The bracelet is VERY SMALL, perfect for my thin friend's skeleton-like wrist, but I wonder if guys even of just average size will be too large for it.

Quartz watches ideally ship with the crown pulled out (which stops the movement), so that the battery will be as fresh as possible for the buyer. This Timex comes with a 10-year battery. Putting that in perspective, for what it costs to replace a different watch brand's battery every couple of years, you could spend almost as much as on this Timex.Buy Timex Men's Classic Two-Tone Expansion Band Watch #T26461!

Timex Men's Expedition Premium Collection Watch #T45541

The first 2-weeks with the watch were unremarkable. Then, just as I was coming to terms with its bulkiness, the dial light stopped working. Later the same day I noticed that it was running slow. After resetting it, the second hand didn't resume when I pushed in the stem. Then I printed out the Amazon return shipping labels.

The one really great thing about the watch is that it stopped running before the Amazon's return deadline. Perhaps I should give it 2 stars.Buy Timex Men's Expedition Premium Collection Watch #T45541!

Ironman 30-Lap Shock

My c. 1997 Time Ironman Triathlon Datalink watch (78401) was recently smashed by standing between my wrist and a falling 40 lb. weight, cracking the frame and its face.

Having never, ever used the Datalink feature, I figured T5H301 model would be a suitable replacement. Overall, functionally, it appears to be; however, I much preferred the fit, display and interface of the 78401. Regarding fit, the band of the 78401 had a large range of swing, enabling it to fit the wrist both snugly and comfortably. On the T5H301, the band has little to no range at the hinge, leaving it sit off my wrist more than is desirable and making the overall feel a bit bulky. Regarding the display and interface, the T5H301 reduces the number of buttons by one, overloading the "increment/increase" onto the Start/Split button. This may simply require getting used to; however, it seems less intuitive. In addition, I find the arrangement of the display tougher to read at a glance with its "crammed into a circle" look than on the 78401 with its "organized into a rectangle" look. Again, this may just take some getting used to.

In short, this seems to be an able and attractive replacement for the 78401; however, if you've been using another Ironman for the last 12 years as I have, the new Timex models like the T5H301 may take some getting used to.Buy Ironman 30-Lap Shock!

Timex Women's Classic Silver-Tone Bracelet Watch #T2M478

I absolutely love this watch. It's elegant and looks expensive without the expensive price tag. Built to last, it features an indiglo night light and is water resistant. Unfortunately it doesn't have a seconds hand but if that doesn't bother you, this watch is value for money.Buy Timex Women's Classic Silver-Tone Bracelet Watch #T2M478!

Timex Women's 1440 Sports Digital Watch #T5G861

I really liked this watch at first, although I thought there was an excessive amount of button-pushing involved to use any of the functions. It is supposedly water resistant, but after a particularly sweaty work-out, I noticed condensation inside the lens, and so I didn't let it get moist again. I've had it all of *six months,* and it died. Took it apart and it is full of crud. I've never seen a cheaper watch. It's not even worth it to send it in for a warranty replacement.Buy Timex Women's 1440 Sports Digital Watch #T5G861!

Timex Women's Classic Two-Tone Bracelet Watch #T2J621

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT FAN OF THE INDIGLO FEATURE, SO THAT WAS A MUST. IT'S GREAT FOR NURSES WHO WORK IN THE EVENING OR AT NIGHT IN DIMLY LIT ROOMS, AND IT HAS A SECOND HAND TOO. MY LAST WATCH WAS ALSO A TWO-TONE, AND IT LOOKED GREAT WITH ALL JEWELRY. THIS WATCH APPEARED TO BE LIKE MY PREVIOUS MODEL, BUT TURNED OUT TO BE MUCH NICER. THE BAND IS NOT AS THICK AS THE AVERAGE METAL BAND, IT'S VERY DAINTY AND FLEXIBLE. IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE A PIECE OF JEWELRY. IT COULD PASS FOR WHITE AND YELLOW GOLD. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.Buy Timex Women's Classic Two-Tone Bracelet Watch #T2J621!

Timex 5F931 Women's Optimal Viewing Angle Sport Watche - Pink

For some reason I feel like there are functions that I am not using because I am not quite sure if I have figured it out fully. I have been using the watch as how I can for now. Timing my run and timing my walk time. But it only gives you two intervals and doesn't loop them (as far as I can tell). So once you finish your run interval then the walk interval then the intervals stop. You don't want to be keying in and resetting it when you are supposed to be running again. So that is a pain in the butt.

The swim functions are just ok. For proper swim workouts it doesn't match up to the second timer clock. If you were just swimming endurance for 1500 and wanted to count your laps.. then ok. But if you are doing different strokes on a pace it isn't that useful. I have started to let the timer just keep running and I do the math calculations in my head for the pace times... I don't know.. I guess I was expecting more.

Now that I have purchased it I think I should have spent more on a watch that calculates my heart rate too.

Now I know what I don't want next time I can focus on what I want.Buy Timex 5F931 Women's Optimal Viewing Angle Sport Watche - Pink!
