This watch is fantastic. It has lots of options for time and date, the alarm is loud enough, and it is well lit. But best of all is the compass (which is the reason I bought it instead of another). Yes, you have to read the manual and set the declination depending on what part of the world you are in. But once that is done, the compass works very well for "urban crawling" as they put it and turned out to be highly accurate for my needs. I only had to reset it once during a recent two week trip, and that was due to being near a strong magnetic field.
